Region Jönköping County is setting aside SEK 500 000 from its 2017 state subsidy to give non-profit organisations an opportunity to carry out cultural initiatives directed at new arrivals and asylum seekers in Jönköping County.

The cultural initiatives aim to help asylum seekers and new arrivals feel welcome. The project grant is designed to promote intercultural dialogue in Jönköping County and to contribute to network-building and sustainable procedures for integration work, which help increase psychosocial health through cultural initiatives.
